How Payment Works
Your reservation payment confirms your pickup slot and reserves collection capacity for your order.
Because laundry pricing depends on the actual weight or item count, your first total is an estimate. After pickup, we confirm the final total and charge the remaining balance before scheduling delivery.

Payments are securely handled by Payfast. Laundry Direct does not store your card details; approved future billing is managed by the payment provider.

Once your booking is confirmed, we will arrive during your selected pickup window. You will also receive an update when the driver is out for pickup, so you know when to expect collection.

When you place an order, we use the address and pinned location you provide to confirm availability before your pickup is finalised. You can also view all service areas to see the main areas we currently cover.

Your laundry is then cleaned according to the service you selected and prepared for delivery once it is fresh and ready. You will be notified once a delivery date and time has been scheduled, and you will have the option to request a different available time slot if needed.
If you have selected different service options, we recommend packing those items in separate bags so we can treat each group correctly.
For standard laundry, you do not need to separate everyday whites, colours, or regular clothing before pickup. We will check, sort, and separate items where needed to help ensure the best possible result.
If you have delicate items, special-care garments, or items with specific instructions, please separate them where possible and add a clear note to your order.

After your laundry has been collected, we confirm the actual weight or item count and calculate the final cost of your order.
Your reservation payment is deducted from the final total, and only the remaining balance is charged against the payment method used when placing your order.
If we are unable to process the remaining balance using your saved payment method, you will be asked to provide another payment method to complete the payment.
Full payment is required before delivery can be scheduled.
After verifying your phone number and placing an order, you can track your laundry online through the Laundry Direct website.
Simply go to Manage Orders from the website menu and select the order you want to view. You will be able to see the latest updates, payment status, estimated timing, and important next steps.
You can also add special notes to your order or open a support query if you need help with an active or past order. We will also send updates as your laundry moves through key stages.
Turnaround time depends on the service selected, order size, pickup time, and delivery availability.
Most regular laundry loads take around 2-3 days in total, including pickup, cleaning, and delivery. This may vary depending on the order size, service type, collection time, and available delivery slots.
We also offer premium options, including Express Same-Day Pickup and Express Next-Day Delivery with overnight turnaround, subject to availability.
Please make sure someone is available during your selected pickup or delivery window.
If your plans change, contact us as soon as possible so we can help reschedule where possible. Missed pickups or deliveries may affect your turnaround time, as your order will need to be moved to another available slot.
Yes, you can request to reschedule or cancel your pickup before collection. Please contact us as soon as possible so we can update your booking and free up the collection slot.
Delivery can also be rescheduled where available. Once your laundry has already been collected and processing has started, cancellation of the cleaning service may no longer be possible.
